Student House...

Here are some photos of our student house in Epsom... Not that it is at all like a student house! It has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, massive lounge, kitchen/dining as well as a basement with a utility room, study, second lounge and sauna! Don't think we could've found a better house for the next 3 years. These are some of my favourite features...

We bought these fake peonies yesterday and I love them! They were only £2 each from Pondem Mill. I have been admiring them in the shop window for weeks and then finally went in and got them. They now sit on our beautiful carved fireplace.
Our gorgeous radiator case which we decorated with cute gold fairy lights. LOVE sign from Pondem Mill, wood hearts from TK Maxx, frames from Homebase and Sainsburys.
Candles in vintage teacups from a gift shop in Rye, bought on a visit with my boyfriend. I am obsessed with these! They smell divine, one is vanilla and the other is rose scented. But the best thing is that when the candle has burnt away you can use them as actual teacups!

These are 2 of 6 hearts that we have hanging around our lounge. We pick them up from different places we visit.
Our lush free standing bath! SO RELAXING!!
Our Cath Kidston tea towels! Middle 3 from Sainsburys.
A lot of the cushions that we have on our sofa we have made ourselves using old curtains and snippets of fabric from our work room. The rest we bought from Homebase.
Yes... we have put up a pole in the middle of our lounge. In fact it is right in front of our TV! We use this for pole fitness and parties. We have already taught ourselves the fireman spin and extended fireman, which I'm proud of seeing as I have never lifted myself on a pole before!
This is an example of the stunning period victorian features in our house. I love a house with character so for me it is ideal! Other examples are cute picture rails, high ceilings, carved archways and bay windows.
In this picture you can see the bunting that we have made for my housemates birthday! We strung paper doilies together and then cut the letters out of fabric to stick on. You can also see our kitchen/dining/conservatory.

Hope you like our house!

Annabel Xx
