My Week in Instants...

As I am yet to get myself an iPhone I do not have instagram. I have, however, substituted this with an app on my macbook called Instant. It turns your photos into polaroids, providing you with a range of filters and effects to edit them with. For only £6, it has to be one of my fave photography apps (which I spend a lot of money on!), I will post reviews of all my photography apps for you at some point.
So this is my week in Instants....

Left: Played nail bar with Christal and Lauren. Christal is like our house beautician, she paints nails perfectly! Right: I started designing my line up for my project at UCA. More pics to come!
I spent last week in Camber with my boyfriend and his family. I bought these in a Whittard's outlet store there. Perfect gift for my housemates!!
Left: We celebrated Sarah's birthday on Weds. These are the cupcakes I made for her, complete with sparkler. Right: Sarah blowing out her princess cake. Her present was a pandora ring.
We had a house party to celebrate Sarah's birthday and also as a rather late housewarming! We have just about got the house back to its normal state after a lot of mopping on our wood floor!
Yes... we had a stripper perform at our house party! This was a surprise birthday present for Sarah. It's safe to say that she was in a complete state of shock! But everyone seemed to be enjoying the show... except maybe her brother!
As I have already mentioned, Sarah got 2 rabbits for her birthday from her work friends. Here are some recent pictures of Bill and Toby enjoying a run around our hallway. Right: Having bunny kisses!
Left: Toby relaxing after his run around. I love the way he's lying, it reminds me of my cat! Right: Bill stealing Toby's carrot whilst he sleeps! Naughty bunny!

It has been an interesting week! I hope to do more of these picture timelines for you, they're quite fun!

Our New House Pets...

This week we celebrated my housemate, Sarah's 20th birthday. As a present from her friends at work she got 2 rabbits and a hutch. These have now become our gorgeous new house pets and we are already having so much fun with them! They are adorable! They came named as Bill and Toby, however we are yet to visit the find to find out their true genders. Bill is very shy and docile whilst Toby is curious and excitable. As they are still so young, they don't know how to jump properly so they just flop around - SO CUTE! Below are some pictures of them from this week...

When they first arrived...

 Our whole house family!
 Bill in his favourite blanket.
 Toby snuggling on the sofa.
Toby passed out on my lap.

I will keep you updated with pictures of our babies :)

Student House...

Here are some photos of our student house in Epsom... Not that it is at all like a student house! It has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, massive lounge, kitchen/dining as well as a basement with a utility room, study, second lounge and sauna! Don't think we could've found a better house for the next 3 years. These are some of my favourite features...

We bought these fake peonies yesterday and I love them! They were only £2 each from Pondem Mill. I have been admiring them in the shop window for weeks and then finally went in and got them. They now sit on our beautiful carved fireplace.
Our gorgeous radiator case which we decorated with cute gold fairy lights. LOVE sign from Pondem Mill, wood hearts from TK Maxx, frames from Homebase and Sainsburys.
Candles in vintage teacups from a gift shop in Rye, bought on a visit with my boyfriend. I am obsessed with these! They smell divine, one is vanilla and the other is rose scented. But the best thing is that when the candle has burnt away you can use them as actual teacups!

These are 2 of 6 hearts that we have hanging around our lounge. We pick them up from different places we visit.
Our lush free standing bath! SO RELAXING!!
Our Cath Kidston tea towels! Middle 3 from Sainsburys.
A lot of the cushions that we have on our sofa we have made ourselves using old curtains and snippets of fabric from our work room. The rest we bought from Homebase.
Yes... we have put up a pole in the middle of our lounge. In fact it is right in front of our TV! We use this for pole fitness and parties. We have already taught ourselves the fireman spin and extended fireman, which I'm proud of seeing as I have never lifted myself on a pole before!
This is an example of the stunning period victorian features in our house. I love a house with character so for me it is ideal! Other examples are cute picture rails, high ceilings, carved archways and bay windows.
In this picture you can see the bunting that we have made for my housemates birthday! We strung paper doilies together and then cut the letters out of fabric to stick on. You can also see our kitchen/dining/conservatory.

Hope you like our house!

Mon Boudior...

I thought I would share with you all some pictures from my student house bedroom in Epsom. I've been here for almost 2 months now so it's about time I showed you! I love this room and my house. I think I prefer my room here to back at home!...

These are the petals of a bouquet of roses from my boyfriend. I thought I would preserve them in Kilner jars that I picked up in Wilkinsons.
I adore this box! My boyfriend bought it for me after whilst we were staying in Hastings. It was from a cute little vintage shop and I had been admiring it in the window. It reminds me of my Singer sewing machine back at home.
This is my Cath Kidston pin board that I've filled with memories over the past 4/5 years. Plane tickets, wristbands, messages, photos, leaflets, gig tickets, hotel cards, souvenirs and a lot more. I love looking over it all every so often.
I brought my mannequin with me from home to help with my fashion course but I just love it as an ornament! I'd rather have it up in my bedroom than in my workroom! Surprisingly its quite comforting to see in the night... most people would be terrified to see a dark figure in the corner of your bedroom. Then the vintage rocking chair was bought for me by my mum as a moving in gift.
I currently have my duvet set from home on my bed which is by Dorma. However I also swap it with a John Lewis cover set which is cream with big red flowers. My cushions are from a mixture of Dunelm Mill and Next.
As you can probably tell, I love photos! They tell my life story and I have to be surrounded by them in order for me to feel at home. All my photo frames are from Dunelm Mill.
Birdcage is from Wilkinsons.
Small heart plates are by East of India.
